Samhain Stories

Our stories are stirring

Whispers, memories from Halloweens long past
And hopes for this year, for now.
I'm gathering Halloween memories,
Weaving magic and memory into a series of artworks.
Let's weave them together.

Welcome to Samhain Stories

Samhain Stories is an art project inspired by your stories and traditions related to Samhain or Halloween. It’s an invitation for the quietly creative. Where myth, magic and memory nourish the heart and soul of imagination. It’s also the seed of a new art project. I’m gathering stories — memories, superstitions, and moments of joy — that will inspire a series of new artworks to be unveiled this October. Your contribution will breathe life into the glowing embers of this community of stories and art.

A short video invitation
to awaken memory and imagination

A quiet reel to settle with, as you stir your imagination and sift your memories

How to participate

Share your Sahmain story, your rituals, superstitions and traditions: anything you hold that’s evocative of the season where the boundaries between worlds are blurred.

A single word from you, a sentence, or a paragraph is a generous offering that will be received with care
